Hi, my 4 yrs olds agency have suggested that we join spotlight. I have looked on the spotlight website, but am still rather confused as to what exactly spotlight is used for? - Do casting directors look at spotlight for children as well as going to the agencies? So we would have a better chance of castings by joining? Would be grateful if somebody could advise, or point me in the right direction to read up about it.. Thank u! x

Hi- casting directors post jobs on spotlight that the agencies pick up. They then suggest suitable children. Casting directors also find children on there and approach the agents. If you and your child are serious then it is a MUST to be on there. Some casting agents will not look at children who are not on there.

Is it just casting directors that get access to the jobs posted or do members also have access?

We don't get access to jobs.
I think they have lots of different memberships so the agents have a membership that lets them see the jobs
