Still learning! Could any of you answer my question?
How is a child actor employed in stage productions or during tours? I assume several children play the same part and it is rotated over a period. Do the children who are not active return to their school and homes or do they stay at a base and reside there and be tutored?
How would this work with school absence?

Hi,
When Ds has toured the roles are always played by a team of three children. He was away for 1 week and then home for two. He would be tutored whilst away and be at his own school when at home.
This has to be agreed by the school for the licence.
