Number of hours for 6th form courses
I just wondered what sort of hours should be expected for musical theatre 6th form college courses. Two near us range from 20-25 hours/week to 8:30-6pm every day but both seem to be doing well. TIA

Re: Number of hours for 6th form courses
For state funded vocational courses approx 15-18 hours per week are usually funded. Sometimes a private college will top up those hours by charging fees. Sometimes it will seem like hours are more due to study periods eg my son is studying a music Btec and Wednesday afternoons are compulsory Directed Study but they are not actually being taught.
At a fee paying institution I would expect around 30 hours per week assuming the fees are approx £12-14k per year

27 hours a week average over the 2 years, but this the first term of the second year is much heavier with audition prep.
In general 2.5 hours each ballet and jazz, 1.25 hours each tap, contemporary, commercial and MT dance.
About 5 hours singing.
About 4 hours acting.
About 6 hours academic stuff.
