Re: Adult agencies which take on Child actors.
Thanks for the replies. A chaperone that was with DS on set mentioned that I should look into putting him with an adult agency that takes a select few child actors. So I thought I would look into it but so far haven't had much luck :) In that case I'd say somewhere like Curtis Brown would definitel...

Re: Adult agencies which take on Child actors.
Off the top of my head these are the ones that spring to mind: Abacus Agency (ABA is their adult division) Robert Kelly Associates A&J Management Mark Jermin Management Bonnie & Betty (Although I believe they are mainly a modelling agency?) Simon & How Byron's Management Jackie Palmer I'...
Re: Gordon and French and Shepherd Management
Best in what way exactly? I think unless you have something specific in mind (location, or a certain type of work etc) then it's very difficult to recommend one agent over another, as it tends to vary dramatically from person to person.. However, both Gordon and French and Shepherd Management are ve...

Re: WHICH AGENCY?
don't think that because you are paying them then they work for you, you need an equal relationship and they are as important to you as you are to them. Totally agree about the equal relationships - I think that's very important between actor and agent, but I just thought I'd chip in and mention th...

Re: abacus agency?
Hello, can I ask where you found this out from? I've been checking their website regularly and they've not posted a date or month since the end of last year! Do you have a DD/DS with them?CrazyDad wrote:Their next seeing people in may I think.

Re: Drama UK Accreditation
Okay thank you both, good to know that you can still go into Spotlight after graduating from a non accredited course...kind of a pain that you can't get a student loan though ](*,) I'll have to look into career development loans then. Does anyone know what this school might mean by saying they have ...

Drama UK Accreditation
Hi there everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be able to share their knowledge and enlighten me about a couple of things. :) I am looking to apply to a slightly lesser known but (in my opinion) great looking drama school this year, but I am getting a tad confused about accreditation and how it ...

Re: Headshot vs Full Length
Thanks for your advice pg and Flosmum. pg - I am over 18 but I am applying for the youth section of this particular agent (16 - 20) Hm that is a good point about actors headshots needing to show you looking through the lense and not at it. I think my new photos may be slightly more looking 'at' the ...

Headshot vs Full Length
I recently had some new photos taken which are about a zillion times better than my previous set so I'm really happy with them. However, I'm still waiting for my full disk (which I should be getting in just over a months time I think) and I have just received a few shots so far just to get an idea o...
