Mark Summers

Hello, I just got an invitation to join Mark Summers Management agency, just wondered if anyone has had any experience with them? I have to send off a registration form and after 30 day 'cooling off' period, I will be invited for an interview (not sure if this means an audition). They say on the com...

Re: Agency 'meeting'

When they replied through starnow they did in fact give me a name, but I do agree advertising through starnow and having 2 meetings is a bit odd. I will be cautious, and would never part with my money or sign anything without being thorough. Thanks very much, and I will definitely be asking those qu...

Re: Agency 'meeting'

Ok thanks for your advice. I mean I would never pay those prices for 'packages' they state on their website, and make sure they were not a requirement if I were to sign with the agency, and of course there were no agency fees. I've realised in fact I know someone who is listed as their actors on the...

Re: Agency 'meeting'

What made you think they were suspicious? I've obviously had a look at their twitter, website and facebook and looks pretty legit to me. I don't believe they are one of the top talent agencies like Curtis Brown, HH etc. especially as they were only established last year but I didn't think they were ...

Agency 'meeting'

Hi, I've been asked to go for a meeting at Impact Media Management after applying to their 'open books' ad on starnow. They said that if they like me at the meeting they will ask me to come back and audition for them. Just wondering if anyone has any advice?? .... is this usual to meet before an aud...

Acting courses in US

Hi, Bit of an odd question but im travelling in America next summer and considering (if possible) attending an acting course whilst im out there, most probably in LA or NY but I will be quite flexible on location. Im hoping to find a 1 (or 2) week intensive or something similar and for a reasonable ...

Headshots Colour or B&W?

Hi, I just got headshots done in both colour and black and white and I was wondering which is best to send to agencies or casting directors? I have always been under the impression black and white is the standard but I am becoming more aware of colour headshots becoming more acceptable too. I am als...
