Scream Management

Post by sapphire »

I'm looking for a good agency in the North West for my DD who is 16. Any thoughts, comments or feedback on Scream? She has been invited to an intake workshop in September ... thanks

I don't really know a lot about them but I've met several quite successful people that are with them...
From what I gather they're one of the best in the area and definitely worth trying for!

Thanks for the feedback. Will probably give it a go ... I was slightly put off by the fact that you have to pay for the workshop, plus the headshots, plus Spotlight registration ... looking at £200+ in total ...

Hi my daughter is with Stirling Management, north west of Manchester. There is no joining fee, the audition workshop was free and they accept any good quality photos so the only charge was about £80 for two years on Spotlight and a nominal £15 admin charge which is very reasonable I think. She has been sent to several auditions and has call backs through them.

Hi my son is with Scream at the pie factory in Salford .They are a good agency. He has had some fantastic castings ,ie Waterloo Rd , Steven Speilberg movie(lead role) Hollyoaks,Anubis House, Doctors ECT.He recently filmed Worried about a boy with Matt Horne and was in a movie with Timothy Spall ,Jim sturgess Noel Clarke and Eddie Marsan(Heartless).Evry agent will expect you to be in spotlight, it is the casting directors bible its £120.00.Also you always have to pay for your own headshots about £70.Scream Are very reputable and well connected and my sons agent had a main part in St Trinians2 so dont worry and give it a go.

Hi, I'm just in the process of filling out Spotlight forms for my ds and they are only asking for £88, seems a big difference between £88 and £120, am I missing something or filling in the wrong forms ??

Spotlight fee is £88. "Scream" puts extra charge on top for the admin job.
They pocketed out £360 in total from me though not a single contact for a year so fired them many moons ago with no regret!

Hi my daughter has been with Scream for over 3 years and it is the best move we ever made ! She has worked non stop - if you are unsure about prices contact them, the team are very approachable.I am not sure you have got the prices right but yes they do charge an admin fee but if you want to do spotlight direct you can also .

The Spotlight Actors & Actresses are £120 for the year and Spotlight Young Performers is £88. This is probably where the discrepancy in price has come from. Good Luck for your audition!
