Need some advice.

Hello all. I am coming close to putting out a casting call of my own, i am involved in the making of a short film for the competition called depict. We would only be casting one part and it obviously would not be paid.I was wondering how much interest you think i would get, like how many people would actually want to audition for it. The Part description would be female of any race, aged from 16 to 25. I was wondering how much interest we would get from this? Like would we get a lot of people or not many?

Think it depends on where you are the the film and what it;s for. DD had to audition for the short film she did for the Virgin Media Shorts. Think they had invited about 20 people along for 3 parts. She did another short film yesterday with some students for their final piece and went to meet them last week but knew they had already decided to give her the part from her application and YouTube links.

hi, you could try posting the casting call on here first to see what the response is. If you do not get enough applications then you could try one of the free (to apply) sites like Mandy or Talent Circle where students etc advertise because they are low or no pay positions and people are happy to work free to gain experience.
