Agent advice
Hi everyone - sorry to post about agents as I know it's a common topic on here....! I'm particularly looking for personal recommendations from those of you based in the "North" with agents for my dd. Have been offered workshop with Scream not sure whether to attend or whether it's worth going - has anyone been to one of these? Have noticed there is some sort of theatre school connected to them which is a concern - ie are their kids given preference when it comes to castings etc. Have managed thus far without services of an agent however dd keen to try tv work and agent necessary. All help will be very gratefully received and feel free to pm me if you'd prefer - many thanks in advance!

Re: Agent advice
Im not sure but MOST of the successes i have heard of from Scream, have come from the theatre school and NOT from the agency alone. I know they have casting directors attend showcases there etc. However, there may well be some successes from the agency, so dont take my word for it

Re: Agent advice
A few weeks ago when ds was at his second recall for Army kids meet a girl from Blackpool who was at her second recall as well her gran said he had just finnished filmimg a lead role in Waterloo0 Road that is all I have heard, my friend said her friend joined her child with them and did not get 1 audition, expect it depend on what age yr daughter is younger children tend to get more work from the age of 13 -16 not much about as they use small adults for that age group, if yr dd is over 16 and small for her age then they are always looking for small 16 =18 to use as teenagers.
