music theme bedroom

Hi. I was just wondering if any of your ds have their rooms done out in a 'music/guitar' theme. My ds wants his room done for Xmas-he's almost 13 and is looking for more of a 'teenage' look. I've spent hours on the internet looking for guitar/music theme duvets etc.. but I'm getting nowhere fast.
Just wondering if anyone has bought something similar and if you can point me in the right direction. Thanks xxx

Son kept his room black and white but has guitars and pictures of music/New York/musicals etc etc on the walls

We got Ds some guitar bedroom accessories and bedding from Next a couple of years ago

We were thinking abouit doing his bedroom black and white . I'm struggling to find him a duvet with some kind of guitar on. He doesn't want one with a union jack on and that's all i can see to find at the mo. Dogcop-Thanks for that. I remember seeing guitar things in Next but they have changed it slightly now. Typical
Think I 'll keep it quite simple and accessorise with guitars etc..

Perhaps you could enquire at one of the T - poo print shops that are in most town centres somewhere if you buy a plain duvet they might be able to make a transfer of some guitar art work and add it to the bedding - just a thought ..

Saw these musical fabrics while hunting for stuff for costumes on EBay. Could do for cushions ( or are cushions too girly for teenage boys..only dds in this house!?)

We did a similar thing for DS. We got some fantastic guitar wall stickers from wallglamour.co.uk and also online, we got a really great musical notes wall sticker at abodewallart. Both are vinyl and look like they have been painted on but can easily be removed. We got a guitar duvet cover again online from great little trading company which was quite pricey and then we found a cheaper one - the 'playguitar' duvet on amazon for 12.99 -typical. Finally we found some small disco-style lights which respond to music from Maplins. He has quite a little haven up there now. But be warned you'll never see him......Hope this helps.

Oooh, I'm going to steal some of these ideas, only I need drum-related stuff instead of guitars (notoriously harder to find!)!

Really liked this idea. I managed to buy my ds a plain blue duvet and curtains Our local print shop have come up with a great guitar/musical note design that they are going to print on both for me. Thanks so much for pointing me in that direction. Also found guitar pictures onnamazon and managed to pick up a treble clef clock when we were in the millennium centre last week. What a difference a week makes

Hi Mogs,

I was on ebay and stumbled across this site whilst looking for a rocking horse for my DD! It sells decals for walls and they have some music related ones and for a good price too.
