Has anyone any info on what this stage casting is for age wise? Not a member of The Casting Website so any info would be appreciated! :D

Sex: Female
Description: Lead Role. In need of a very competent young actress to play this central character. Must also be strong in musical theatre and instrument skills. Character is aged 14-15 (so young looking actresses only) Must be able to perform an Oxfordshire accent.
Agreements / Fees: Agreement based on Equity/ITC terms & conditions - £385 basic + £84.84 relocation (rising from 1st April 2011)

Hello, im new, and im not a mum (sorry, will get off if I should be) im a 14 year old daughter, I was just wondering if once we have all that info ^^ how do I apply, are there any auditions, do I send it to someone...Im so passionate about acting, but I just dont know where to begin, thank you :)

Hi Ruspinigirl & welcolme to NAPM!!
The problem with the audition you have asked about is that it is through a site called The Casting Website, I am a member but even if I applied for this role it would not give me the Casting Directors or companys details, so info from this site is very hard to access, unless they contact you. If you are starting out , then have a look at the 'can you help' section on this website, & then click on ' Getting started Again' , this may help you. You may also find this site very useful for keeping abreast of current auditions, as there are many teenagers , ect who use this site. Good Luck to You, & dont worry, getting started in this industry is a marathon not a sprint!!! :D

I think this is for a stage version rather than the bbc show. I assume if it is they will be looking for young looking over 16s so they dont need a licence.
