Just read that

"Jason Donovan will take over as Captain von Trapp in the touring production of The Sound of Music from 29th January"

Not really sure I view Jason as old enough to play Captin VT but having seen him fairly recently in Priscilla the change of scenery will be interesting.

Can't wait for the first reviews.

I thought exactly the same when i read this. He doesnt seem old enough. Mind you- some of the people we've seen playing the captain have been sooo old that when he's kissed Maria-we've cringed

I think he would make a good Captain - he is 42 now and I have just seen him play the artillery man in War of the Worlds live on stage in which he was amazing! $\:D/$

I'm, quite excited, when I told Heather she was like who. Can't believe someone I LOVED when I was a teen is going to be hugging and picking up my daughter a few nights a week lol
