When it came to Carlisle they used girls from a local dance school to play the orphans. Only the girl playing Annie, and one of her orphan friends, who is an alternate Annie, I think, do the tour. Not sure if that makes sense Think there might actually be 3 Annies who tour and the Annie understudying each night plays one of the orphans and the 3rd girl gets a night off?
Hope that helps.
He could go and he could shine, not just stay here counting time,
Son, we've got the chance to let him live

Thanks Hecouldshine!
You don't happen to have any contact details of who cast them etc do you - sorry to be a pain, my daughters dance/theatre school are trying to get in early, the tours not due with us till September but you know what they say the early bird and all that!!!
Differnt orphans at each venue. This year my daughters theatre group got 2 venues, & 1 of their girls is compleating a 6mth run as Annie tourning nationwide. & yes they had 3 Annies. So only the Annies tour . :
Im not 100% but I believe that the performance groups for each venue are allready decided for this year. My daughters group know which they have already.
