Covering letters

Post by janeh »

I am looking for help with covering letters, I always seem to get a bit tongue tied and am never quiet sure what to / not to include and don't simply want to be repeating what's on DD resume. Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

I would keep it short as CD do not have time to read a long letter say you are applying for such and such a part for yr daughter has been acting for how many years if she has done any thing big put that down and say that is really keen to act, at the end say that u look forward to hearing from the CD and thank them for reading yr lettert, that is all u have to right as u are sending the cv do not really need to say any more that is what I write

Thanks for that, I have been keeping it short but wondered if that was the right way to go, so thanks for confirming.
