Aarrrggh! What to do about spots?

Post by notapushydaughter »

Hi everyone! I'm having a bit of a problemo recently. I'm 13 so I know it's normal, but I have way more spots than usual. Does anyone have any ways to get rid of them? Please help! xx :(

If you have a fringe it would help if you put it back off your face, also if you are wearing make up make sure you wash it off thoroughly every day. I do symphathise with you but unfortunately its what most 13 year old go through. My dd found LUSH shop very helpfull. :)

Hi Bruno
There one that i use is Garnier Pure Deep pore wash follow by Garnier Pure purifying toner and garnier pureA Daily treatment moisturiser. They are all in blue packening, it might take you up to two weeks to work as your skin need to get use to a new skin care. Also try not to wear any founation as sometime wear make up can cause spots, specially if you dont wash it of every evening as i know some young girls dont do as they got other things... to do and just forget to wash it of before going to bed. I would also say watch what you eat (like try and eat more fruit and not as most sweet things and chips as they do make your skin break out). One more thing DONT pick them or you will end up with scares. I hope this might help you.

the best and cheapest solution we have found that works well and quickly - apply sudocream at night to a clean dry face dont rub in totally and go to sleep definate improvements within 2 days especially in skin that is oily and prone to blackheads as well - you may think nooo its for nappy rash but when you pick up and read the tub it actually says for acne on it daughters boyfriend suggested it to our 13 year old son and its worked wonders
If you dont buy a ticket how can you ever expect to win !!

I would never have thought of using sudocream but will try it tonight. I'm actually taking my ds to the doctor tommorrow as he has had problems with some nasty spots on his nose since the new year. They are very sore and don't seem to be healing (No-he's not picking them. Honest :D ) He also suffers with really big blackheads on his nose that cannot be removed with strips. We're afraid to try anything facially as the rest of his skin is lovely and we don't want to aggrivate it. The pharmacist actually suggested the doctor as apparently there is an antibiotic 'Roll on' that you place on the affected area. Hopefully we can get it sorted but will be digging out the Sudocream for definate. Good tip :D

I truly believe that Sudocream has magical properties - I recommend it to my kids for anything from splinters to dry skin. I'd not thought of it for spots, but there's nothing else it can't handle so why not?!!!

In the meantime, my lot use Garnier pure active blackhead clearing scrub and I've noticed a HUGE difference with their skin in terms of frequency of break-outs.
