We almost signed up to this, after being offered a free workshop. I then googled the site, and found some very telling comments about the workshops, most of them from NAPM! That's how I ended up on here! I cancelled the workshop, but am still receiving emails constantly, I just delete them.

We never got as far as actually booking a workshop but seem to get emails about relevant castings virtually every day which we just delete. You would think that after months and month of no response they wouldn't bother any more!!!
All new to me!

Same thing has happened to us Bruno. Have applied for about 3 things on there but no auditions and the things I have applied for have appeared elsewhere. I don't think we will be paying to renew the subscription, but a bit worried now that they will take the money straight out of my mum's bank.

There is a link onn this site somewhere (can't remember on which thread) that puts you to the payment page of casting website. If you e-mail them asking them to unsubscribe your dc and ask for confirmation that they will not take any money that should do it, it worked for me. I unsubscribed my dd last week.

earlier on this thread....but here again

This site works by their T&C's signing you up to perpetual renewals unless you resign your account

You have to use this address

payments@thecastingwebsite.com

IF they don't action your requirement you must progress with trading standards, as they are publishing your minor's details and permission has been revoked

if they persist taking money from your account you can cancel your debit/credit card you used to pay that will stop them
