Re: Margate
Where do you live? I find it cheaper to book super off peak or off peak advance fayres about 3 weeks beforehand on redspoottedhanky. You alkso accumulate loyalty points. Dh travels on the train a lot for work and I sort out his fayres. You have to watch what time of day you travel and sometimes two singles can be cheaper than a return

Re: Margate
Think its disgusting the price of train fares... goverment urge people to use public transport instead of the car... yet the fares are so expensive.... we had to travel up to london a few time last month. my fare was £50.00 because it was before 9am... ds doesnt have to pay as he's under 5... would have cost me £20.00 in the car but then you have the problem of parking.... unbelievable

Re: Margate
And to use the station car park is around £6.50 on top
