Theres quite a lot to take in when you read the email.... my ds needs his hair cut but after the last time i think i'll wait till after the pics. they ended up cutting his fringe to short. taken me ages to grow it out. is anyone going next tuesday?

Its best to have yr ds hair cut now so when he is in spotlight his hair will look like he usaly has it I had ds hair cut a few weeks ago so that it will be like that in his new photo for spotlight

were trying to grow it back to his original length before he last had it cut. might have the ends nipped.... so with the spotlight piccies if ds decides to have a change of haircut you need to have new pics done. is that right?

Yes if hair changes have to let agent no and best to have new photos taken. Also when they audition never have there hair cut until u find out if they have the part, have been on shoots where parent thought it was a good idea to have dc hair cut to be filmed production companys where not happy. Some times they pick a kid for the way they look so if they have there hair cut do not look the same

when ds had his hair cut last time i made a point of saying just a trim... although it didnt look like she'd taken much off, his fringe was way to short and totally changed his appearance... good luck to those of you going for photos today let us know how it goes :D

Anyone going for photos on Saturday? We're booked in for 12:15. Will have to go and buy some new t-shirts. Primark here I come!

My oldest DD is missing her two front teeth. I presume they'll ask her to keep her mouth shut when she smiles?

Thanks

We had our photos done and my DD's teeth are at the awkward, bumpy and a bit wonky stage, doesn't help that she won't stop sucking her thumb! There are a mix of her smiling with teeth, without teeth and not smiling. My faves are definitley the one's where her teeth aren't showing!

Can anyone tell me if Abacus is better than A & J management?

i would say A&J and ABACUS are about on the same level and would proberbly get all the same casting briefs from what i have seen.
the differences are that A&J audition every month and Abacus every 6 months.
also their websites are very different.you can see A&J's clients without passwords where as Abacus only put their clients recent work but not profiles online.
my ds is with A&J and we are very happy! as are most of abacus's clients.

Oh dear Stagecoach, hope he is better today for his photos, if not I'm sure they will be able to sort out an alternative date.
