Max Callum Agency

Does anybody have any experience or knowledge of this agency either good or bad? PM me if you prefer. Many thanks

I don't know anything about them I'm afraid. You can look at the Spotlight profiles of their adult clients - I don't know how useful this is? Most of the adult clients seem to have more than one agent, which is not usually a good sign. That's not meant to sound disparaging, it's just that a good actors' agent (as opposed to an extras agency) would normally insist on sole representation.

I tend to get very sniffy about organisations that don't bother to do a spell check before launching a website, it doesn't fill me with confidence. Perhaps that's just me! ;)

Thank you for the advice pg :) They are advertising on Star Now as starting a Manchester agency as well as London

According to Casting Call Pro they have 546 people on their books (since 2010 8-[ ). I know they represent extras as well as actors, but that's quite a lot of people to look after!

There's no harm in finding out more, I expect you'll be able to judge quite a lot from a meeting. If you're looking for acting representation though, I would suggest that there is absolutely no point in joining an agency that will take all comers. They definitely need to be auditioning/interviewing or watching a showreel or attending a production.

I agree pg that is a lot of people to represent, it's for my dd, i'm looking for an good agency to represent her in the Manchester area but unless somebody can give me some good feedback about Max Callum agancy probably won't bother with them
