Stagecoach , the production company will have to contact the successful applicants agencies.. I doubt many (if any)of them would be open on a Sunday Night.. I would imagine that phone calls for recalls would have been made already or will be made tomorrow morning..Is it possible that they meant they would be making their minds up on Sunday night!
Miss Moneypenny- I feel your frustration,,, just happy that Im not the only one that only gets a 'FINE' whist interrogating ( YES i know we're not supposed too!) my child on her castings!!!

we were told by the girls on the reception that they needed parents numbers as they would call them on sunday night, so i am guessing its a no, but now i am torn as i have a casting director wanting to see dd tomorrow after school, but if ds may still have a recall tomorrow i don't know what to do now.....

recalls are tomorrow so that is why they said would contact tonight..... bit late now so will put this one behind us.... so is it rare that cd's will make the call for something like this. would it be the agent who would call ?

I would say it's very unusual. We have had it once with a big film CD, but on the whole I haven't heard of it happening much. I guess if they are recalling tomorrow then it makes sense though. Sophiesocks, I think if they said they would call tonight, then it would be fine to take your dd if you haven't heard. Good luck to her :)

Usually the production company calls your agent. I guess because the recalls on the Monday they have said this to you. Once my daughters was on heavy heavy pencil & we were told that the production company was making its mind up that night!! Our agent had to close (it was gone 8 at night)& they gave my telephone no to the production company & told me to expect a call....... We heard nothing.....ALL NIGHT!!!! Next morning( the day of wardrobe!!) we recieved a call at 10 from our agent saying my daughter had the job, had no-one called us????... In my experience production companys like to ring agents.... The casting experience youve had is more rare... & obviously done because of time constraints. There is then a slim chance of a call tommorrow but Sophiesocks I would go & see the CD who has asked to see your daughter(a bird in the hand........!!)

most agents have a phone number that they give to cd so they can contact them out of hours so think cd would contact agent do not usaly get calls from cd. I have had phone calls from agent as late as 10.30pm

sophiesocks- I think you are with same agent as us. As our agent office is from home if the casting director was to call on a Sunday then we would normally hear by email or call the same day. We have had calls in past between Christmas and New year when other agencies are totally closed to confirm a job. Hopefully you will get another casting soon. Thats a good start having a call so soon!

i have gotten some photos of ds done very recently and they were accepted by the agent so we have not had to have any new photos done which is a relief!

Stagecoach

It was fine, she didn't seem to be in there as long as some of the others so not sure that's a good sign. She was happy with the way it went though. Came out into rushour travel on the tubes as well so thought we were going to miss our train home.
