Can anyone suggest a singing teacher in Kent

Post by musicmummy »

Hi everyone. Having got over the trauma of the exam failure etc my husband has just heard that his job is relocated and we are having to move to Higham in Kent. We are hoping to move by the end of September and will need all three children to start singing lessons as soon as possible. Can anyone suggest any singging teachers (we are prepared to travel within reason) and also any good choirs that they may be able to join.
Many Thanks :D

Hi musicmummy, I'm pleased to hear you are moving to Kent! We live about 15 miles from Higham, and, although I don't know any good singing teachers in the Gravesend area my dd is also a singer, and is a Rochester Cathedral chorister, which you may be interested in. Pm me if you want any more details of age range etc. There are also the choirs run through Kent Music which you can look up on their website which take place on Saturdays once a month. I found our singing teacher by typing something like 'music teachers in kent' into Google, but she has just given up teaching privately.
Hope you find what you are looking for. Good luck with the move.

Thanks! i couldnt work out how to pm but i have googled rochester cathedral and I will discuss it with the girls & see if we can fit it in, they are going to school in central london so it may not fit in. Thanks so much for the information i was worried we would have trouble finding musical activities near us.
