Just received a phone call telling us that DD has an audition with Kelly Management next month! They have asked her to prepare a piece lasting approximately 2 minutes. Trouble is, that we don't have a clue about what sort of piece to put together! Does anyone have any advice?

sorry i cant help, but my ds was due to meet with them until i realised weekly classes were compulsory and i just couldnt commit to them as we arent in london, did they mention that to you as i only found out because somebody on napm mentioned it. good luck

No, they haven't mentioned this! We're not London based, but I'll still take DD along to the audition and see what happens. Well, provided we can prepare something! Help!

How old is your DD?

You can get good age appropriate monologue books from Amazon, which are good for this sort of thing ... good luck!

Do you just need a monologue mummygilly? Because I have a totally original one that I used for an audition and it went down really well. I'm the same age as your dd! Tell me if you want me to pm it to you
