Auditions for singers of all ages

Post by openmicuk »

Singing auditions have begun all over the UK for singing competition Open Mic UK

The competition is open to all ages, and it's a great way for kids to showcase their talent in front of industry judges and Radio 1 DJ's

Head to the website for audition locations and dates http://www.openmicuk.co.uk

Think my dd did this years ago. We travelled to some city, she did an audition with loads of people. A fair amount got through, we then found out that in order to get to the next stage you had to buy a load of tickets, and people in the audience can vote for you, or something like that. So in my opinion it was a bit of a scam.

Hmmm, my dd is going for it , but it doesnt tell you that till you get accepted then if you get through you are supposed to sell quite a few tickets  . never mind its all good practice i suppose.
