Duet for a boy and girl

Post by Ellie8989899301 »

Does anyone know of any good duets (preferably musical theatre) for a 16 year old boy and girl, tenor and soprano?
Thank you.

There are several in West Side Story. Tonight, Theres a place for us...

Also Marius and Cosette's song in Les Mis (sorry, I can hum it but I'm not sure of the title) or 'Little Fall of Rain' which is sung by Marius and Eponine.

If you want something less romantic, there's 'Jolly Holiday' sung by Bert and Mary in Mary Poppins

There must be duets between Tracey and Link in Hairspray?

Don't forget to let us know what you choose

If you want a real comedy number, how about "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better!" from Annie Get Your Gun?

There are several Rodgers & Hammerstein - how about If I Loved You from Carousel (always makes me cry!); Without Love from Hairspray is a double duet but could be done with just one pair; fun number is Master of the House from Les Mis; Tell Her from 13...

Will come back if I think of any more...
And all that jazz...!

Spring Awakening has some nice duets in it like 'Don't do sadness/Blue wind' 'The word of your body' and 'guilty ones' and maybe a few more. The characters playing ages are teenagers too so that would suit what you are looking for should you have not found something in the many brilliant suggestions above.
