Need Advice

Hi everyone I am a 16 year old lad from Wolverhampton. I am interested in pursuing an acting career but need advice on how to do this. I am currently doing a BTEC in performing arts (Acting). I have been in a few school plays and a short educational thing about gun crime but I need some advice on any local drama groups that I could join and also some advice on acting agencies.

Kelly Management have just put out an audition call: http://screenterrier.blogspot.com/2012/ ... -olds.html. My DD is represented by them and since being signed up in August has had several auditions for good roles and was filming for the BBC before Christmas! You do need to attend a weekly class though if London-based.

Other agencies to consider are Mark Jermin, Abacus, Bryons, A&J Management .... the list is endless!

You could try auditioning for groups like NYT, NYMT and YMTUK. If you intend trying to study Acting post 18, then just try to get as much experience as possible. Entry is by audition, so all experience helps. Also you need to plan and prepare for them a long time in advance.
