Best Baby model agency?

Hi folks - im new here & hoping you can advise me. My baby girl is 4 months and we are looking for a good agency to represent her for modelling/tv work
Do you know which are good ones that get lots of work for babies?
We are hoping to do this properly and wish to join a reputabld agency that is busy with lots of work for babies.

So far we've had a 'yes' from Norrie Carr and Elizabeth Smith but both charge registration/portfolio fees which we wanted to avoid
Any advice/experience welcome!

Gosh, there's nothing like starting early - good luck! It reminds me of a comment in a recent episode of Glee that 'she has in utero credits!!!'. The character's ante-natal scan had appeared in a Gerber ad I think.

I noticed a job on Star Now for a baby under 1 year old recently. I didn't pay a lot of attention as I haven't had a baby under one year old for - erm - six years now, but it might still be there.

Sorry, can't help with advice about agents, but I'm sure someone here can.

DS started modelling at 10 months - with MOT, herts based outfit, would thoroughly recommend. Hard to know where the time's gone now he's 15 and heading for 6 foot!

If you have a content baby who is at ease with strangers and unfamiliar situations you'll have a ball!

Where are you based? DK in Sheffield had a contract for baby knitwear company and didnt have enough babies so were looking round. They're not sole so you could join another as well. Good Luck

We're based just outside London so can easily commute to castings.
I just wasn't sure if there is a 'top' agency that specialises and gets more work for babies than any other agencies or if all of the agencies get the same invite from clients to attend castings?
Also all the ones so far charge 'portfolio' or 'web' fees and I wondered if that's normal for child agencies as they all seem to charge. I don't mind paying a little for photos so long as we get lots of job opportunities.

Let me know your experiences & how often you get castings.

My dd was with Elizabeth Smith when she was little. They are good. I think you will find that although agencies say they do not charge "fees" as such, you have to have photos taken which will cost. These go into the Contact book which is viewed by all prospective employers so it is worth getting a good set of photos. I know Elizabeth Smith is a model agency, but they do provide babies for TV sometimes. Good luck.

Norrie Carr, Bubblegum, Elizabeth Smith, Scallywags, mot and Rascals were all good when mine were little but it was a few years ago now!

So its Norrie Carr vs Elizabeth Smith.
Norrie Carr is cheaper at £75 and want to meet in person. ES want £185 and no need for appointment.

Are these agencies selective about who they represent from seeing my baby's photos or does everyone get a 'yes'???

Elizabeth Smith have obviously changed their ways - when my dd was with them, she was invited up to their offices before they offered to take her on, and that was after submitting various requested snapshots. I was told that they only invite about 5% of children to meet them from all those applying - not sure I believe that but they were selective. Elizabeth Smith was running it then but no idea whether she is still there or whether her daughter has taken over.
