It's good to read what people have written in the about me section coz you never know what is 'too much' to write.

have you found your dd having braces has slowed things down?? mine has them just on the bottom at the mo so not really noticable but have to say castings have slowed down and wondering if that is one of the reasons!

sorry for confusing you bruno 2, your dds profile is excellent as is cops22. I like the look of Kccp profiles and its always good to have a record of credits etc, easy to direct people to if your dc doesn't have their own website - shameless plug coming up

Yep definately slowed down castings during the last 6 months. Although dd has picked up small parts, even Upstairs & Downstairs (but she had to keep her mouth closed) !!! And she also played a young Andria Mclean on the Loosewomen Christmas Dvd and had a few lines, so there is hope !! Good luck.

We joined early so got a free life membership. There are very few jobs but its a good way to have an uptodate cv you can send out when you apply privately for castings, bit quicker than the agent updating Spotlight!

A week ago we had an email from a Bournemouth uni student offering ds work , so thats quite useful as employers can send you messages direct. DS did get a really good film job through them 18 months ago, again through an email invite to a casting.

DS is 17 so i'm not sure if they kick you off when you are 18

Work has been a bit thin on the ground lately, so the cv'c looking a bit empty for the last year. When he was 14/15 he looked about 12, so was hoping once he got past licence age he'd be right for the younger parts, then at 16 he had an amazing growth spurt and is quite tall for his age, so couldn't pass for under 16! But he did do lots of SA work on Skins, which he couldn't have done if he looked younger

Now he's at college he is getting a lot of acting time doing college productions (he's doing f/t acting course) but I don't think I can put them on his cv, can I?

Thats interesting to know ! When dd was 11/12 she was a bit to tall for parts as she was almost 5ft and we all know about the dreaded 5ft. Anyway now she is 14 she is still only 5ft 1ins and to be honest I was hoping she would grow, but maybe its a good think as they can always make her look younger and she can do the growing at 16

Yes Bruno, over the last year he must have grown at least 6 inches, possibly more. And just starting to fill out too. I guess you keep growing until you at least 18, so your daughter may surprise you yet!
