Solo songs for boys.

Post by jojo_b »

Please help. I'm looking for a new solo for my ds, he's 10. I would describe his voice as a dodger rather than an
Oliver. He's done "consider yourself" and "little people" but now wants something new and I'm struggling to find anything suitable.

All suggestions are gratefully received. Thank you.

Or Toby's other song from Sweeney, Pirelli's Miracle Elixir (or something like that!) or Giants in the Sky from Into the Woods?

I'm getting married in the morning (My Fair Lady)
Santa Fe (Newsies)
I Got Rhythm
Pharoah Song (Joseph)
Sit Down You're Rocking The Boat (Guys and Dolls)
Nicest Kids In Town (Hairspray)

All would suit a 'belter' type 'Dodger' voice - it's sometimes refreshing for CDs to hear a different type song for a change - bet they get fed up of hearing the same old same old! :D
