voice training/singing lessons help

Hi
DS is 17, voice has just about finished breaking and has not had any singing lessons. Unfortunately he wasn't interested in singing when he was younger. He has now said he'd like some lessons so he could improve his singing and also the strength of his voice.

Do I look for a singing teacher, or a voice coach? I have no idea where to start or what to look for! Any recommendations, especially for teachers in Bristol , would be great.

Isnt there a Music College in Birmingham? Maybe a teacher from there or possibly through Bristol Old Vic?
