Kids Casting Call Pro

Post by Dell71 »

Is anyone on here registered with Kids Casting Call Pro?

If so, how have you found it? Have you had much work via them?

My dd is with an agent but it's all quiet at the moment so I'm just trying to find other opportunities around. I have registered her on Starnow but have heard KCCP mentioned a lot too. x

I am on but only on the basic level as it is expensive £12 per month and there really aren't that many auditions on there... def not enough for me to justify the cost.... but I think the slight benefit is that you can opt to pay for just one month so if you see ajob that you're really interested in you could sign up for that month then cancel after that.....
It is a more professional profile than Starnow..... i'll attach my dd's link for you to look at, I really like the layout of it .
No harm in signing up for the free page anyway then you can see from there!!!!

Its a nice site, good way of having an 'on line' style cv so you can easily send a link to someone if you need a cv.

Only downside is there are very few castings! Casting seem to be genuine but nearly always in London. I wouldn't bother with the expense of joining unless you see something that fits you. We don't live in London and have appplied for jobs that ds fits exactly but often his applications are not even read (you can see when they open them) and I guess its because we live so far away.

For those of you whose children are 16-18 its worth putting them on the adult CCP rather than the child one as there are a lot more castings on there and the old teen castings tend to get posted on both anyway.

I wanted to join CCP or KCCP. I'm 19, but have a playing age of around 12/13... so its pretty tricky for me :?
I've heard some good things about it, mainly just about how it gives you a professional looking online CV and profile page. But the casting calls arent very many at all.

Thanks for all your responses. I've decided to leave it for now then as it is quite expensive if there aren't many castings coming through.

Let's hope agency work picks up and we find some success with Starnow too [-o<
