Well done to all the ds and dd who have secured a place on their dream course. Good luck to all those of you still waiting on hearing or still have audition rounds. Whatever the outcome remember that all your hard work and valient efforts have proved that you are brave, strong and smart. We all know that the path is not straight and we are always been tested so it's best to enjoy the journey as who knows what the destination will be.
Happy Easter everyone

Hey guys, I just wanted to say thanks for all the nice comments about the Actor W blog! I just literally stumbled across this site when seeing where the views on the blog were coming from, and I'm really glad to hear people are actually enjoying reading it all, so thanks a lot :)

I've just updated about Guildhall and the LAMDA one is coming soon hopefully, I'll try and get a report for that up before I get the result in the post in a week or so...

And good luck to anybody else who is auditioning!

Reading your blog was interesting as my DD felt the same about Guildhall. She never got anywhere there though she hadecalls an several other places and eventually ended up in CSSD.

New Drama School!

Post by Chaffeurmum »

My ds got an offer today from Rose Bruford after a devastating set of auditions, as I know many of you will have experienced. Rada must have sent off his rejection letter before he left the building! He changed his speech for Rose Bruford which made a huge difference, he feels. Any little niggle and you are out which is so stressful.

Anyway, just wondering if any of you have any negative or positive comments on Rose Bruford?

Best of luck to all those still waiting.

A bit of advice. There is a new drama school in Dublin (still at Ireland prices!) called LIR which is part of Trinity College. http://www.thelir.ie/about-us/the-lir/

I was trying to get my ds to apply as I think it looks fab. Something you all should consider!
