Re: Employment after drama school
Sorry about that. My DD got in on second year of trying and I feel she was far better suited then to the realities of living in London and coping with a very demanding course than she would have been at 18. Good luck for Tues.

Thanks WelshMum ... I 100% agree with you and think she's done brilliantly seeing as this time last year she wasn't even thinking of drama school

Yeh I agree ! Such a huge amount of money, doesnt seem right somehow.Welsh Mum wrote:The course looks good but fees are mind boggling - with no DaDa or student loans![]()

Add on living costs in London and i really don't see how anyone from a "normal" background could afford it.

Good luck to your dd with the audition, keep us informed.sapphire wrote:Well DD has a no from Central todayHowever, if I am honest, I am not too disappointed .... I don't think she is quite ready for drama school in London yet! So we have recalls for the RADA and LAMDA foundation courses this weekend and still on the reserve list for LIPA so still she has done well as a young Y13 in her first year of applying. On a happier note she has just had a call from her agent and she has a very interesting audition on Tuesday, so hopefully onwards and upwards. Jackpot, good luck to your DS on Monday
