My dd has had a fixed brace for 3 and a half years, and can honestly say that (to my knowledge) I don't think it has lost her work - she hasn't be inundated but has had a steady run of castings and jobs. We always make sure the CD knows though, so could be that some say no before we even hear about it - but she has had both acting and modelling work with the dreaded brace - in fact for one job it was a positive advantage! I thought that she would be very limited with it but it hasn't really proved to be the case. She is getting it taken off the week after next so I will let you know if the work goes up!

Good to know.... dd's top brace goes on in a couple of weeks but should only be on for a few months as only 1 tooth to straighten very slightly, have tried to push for it done on a retainer but the orthadontist is insisting it be done properly says in the long run we will be grateful.....
I suppose he's right but last summer she was so busy with jobs and I worry that it won' be the same this year but missmoneypenny has given me hope

If you want to post a link to KCCP or Starnow you have to log out then copy the link then when you post the link it will go to the link you want not your child's page if that makes sense
