Acting Role in Episode of the BBC's 'Call The Midwife'
Closing date: 22 June 2012
BBC/Neal Street Productions
Location: London
Remuneration:Paid (Above Equity Minimum)
Description:
BBC are casting for a new supporting role which features in episode 4 of the Second Series of Call The Midwife, the successful BBC series.
Small supporting part (3 lines across 1 scene)
The episode is shooting in and around London between 19th July and 9th September.
The successful candidate would only be needed for a few days in this period. We dont have the exact shoot dates as yet, so those interest would need to be available across these dates.
We are looking for a young man with Cerebral Palsy (between 18 and 25) to play the role of Jacob, a cheeky young man from London who meets Jenny (played by Jessica Raine) at a home for the disabled. We are looking for someone who would be able to confidently deliver a few lines across one scene and is able to walk unassisted.
This is a nice supporting part. Any acting experience (professional or otherwise) would be an advantage but isn't necessary.
We are casting in Central London over the the next couple of weeks.
