Hi everyone thanks for the lovely welcome. Was just coming to say that we had not heard anything but I just checked my email again and they want him for the job! So very very excited! He has to go for a fitting in July and the shoot is in August.

I'm sure you'll both have a fab time at the shoot. Feel free to be even more proud and excited - if that's possible

Feel a bit cheated with this one as we got an invite to London too, but didnt go due to the shoot dates clashing with holidays. Now that the dates have changed we could have been in for a chance, also as a bonus we live in Dorset too (Bournemouth) which is where the shoot will be, AAArrrggg hey ho, next time!!!!

Good luck to those final 18 hope you have a fab time, and hope the weather in Dorset will be good to you =D>

Oh no Dolsy thats awful. I was quite surprised that they didn't mention the change of dates to the chosen 18 prior to the second casting. There was a lady at the second casting who had come a fair way and it turned out that her DD wouldn't be able to do the shoot because of the date change. I imagine she was pretty annoyed. Have you emailed shoot europe to tell them, maybe you can be on a standby list in case anyone is ill during the shoot, especially as you will be able to get there very quickly if needed. Not surprised you are annoyed, I would be too. I think they chose 6 people out of the 18 to do the shoot.

Hi Two Bunnies
Well done to your DS I hope he has as much fun as our DS did back in March . We are looking forward to seeing the photos in shops from end of this month .
Are Shoot Europe asking the model agency Kids London to arrange the contracts as last time ?
Have a great time

Hi Humph, yes I think the license is being sorted by KidzLondon or could be by Shoot Europe - apparently it depends how busy they are. The shoot is now between 13-22 Aug, keeps getting later and later! Really looking forward to it, got the fitting in a few weeks, need to get DS haircut so it has time to grow back to how it was last month! I wrote and asked about pay and was staggered how much they pay a child for a daily rate, sadly no chaperone fee :(

Did the lady who was waiting from NEXT hear anything. Might start to look into other auditions now, could get to like this!

Hi Two Bunnies
I would not get a hair cut unless you have to ( eg hair in eyes or your school getting funny) . On the Clarks Shoot they have a couple of fab stylists & they are very keen to trim if it requires it . If you do have a trim in advance only get a little c =D> ut as they have to look like they did at the casting we were told !
Congratulations enjoy
