Private Drama Tuition

Post by Son of PG »

(Advertised with permission from NAPM admin - thanks very much admin)

I’m an actor based in South London and have recently started doing Private Drama Tuition. If you need help picking speeches, working on audition pieces, or generally would like to learn more about the profession I would be very happy to help.

I am happy to work with all ages and most recently I have been working with a 14 year old (working towards NYT) and a 25 year old (working towards Drama School). Before training at RADA I worked as a teaching assistant with a local Saturday drama school and worked with young people from the age of 6 to 18. I’ve also directed a number of productions with both the REC Drama School (the local drama school) and my own theatre company Three’s Company.

If anybody would like help please do get in touch, and I can let you know any details including rates and availability. I am happy to come to you if this is easier, or you are welcome to come to South London. I would also be happy to consider dual or group sessions. References available!

Son of PG is in Edinburgh at the moment, having just finished a run at the National Theatre. I'll let him know there's a post here and ask him to get back to you, in case he doesn't see it. :)

I managed to catch up with "son of" briefly today. He's running round Edinburgh for the next few days and is waiting to hear about a job, but he will be back on-line by the end of the week and will update NAPM on his availability soon!

Sorry for not being around for the last few months. As mother of Son of PG has said - the end of the National job and then dashing about Edinburgh on a spoof walking tour (as well as co-directing an all female production of Romeo and Juliet) has taken up a fair bit of brain space.
I’m currently waiting to hear about another job (which would take me out of London and take up most of the rest of the year) so I’d hate to offer help I couldn’t then give. I am of course here to offer any advice I can and my email is at the bottom if you think I could be useful not in person.
As an actor it seems time can be both unnervingly flexible and then impossible to work round so as soon as I know what the deal is I will be back on the forum and hope to be around for any tutoring and help I can give. A better reason for not being back on the forum in the last few days may be that I’ve just got engaged… so the left over brain space I may have had, has been given to calming my nerves about asking my now fiancé to marry me. Thank goodness she said yes.
Do let me know if I can help immediately but if not I’ll be back around very soon. All the best.
