Mt Stink
I see from Screenterrier that the casting for Mr Stink has been announced. My DD went for Annabelle, the sister and was recalled. Now that I see they have given the part to a red headed girl who was recently in a BBC production I can at least give my DD some feedback as she is blonde!! They always seem to go for the more experienced kids!! ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

I know, I know....! However, at least they saw your child! They could just not bother. My own feeling is the Casting Directors are happy to look at all and try and find new talent but the Production Company/Director likes the kudos and promotional aspect of an already known young actor. Look on it as all good experience.
I have to say that having seen TV productions that my child auditioned for - then seeing who they cast is often a
to us. Like you said, different hair colour, totally different to spec and not always (sadly) convincing acting (imo) for the role. Thankfully sometimes we are really impressed with who got the role.
That said, I know how you feel.

Just to say the little girl who got annabelle whose very experienced , hasnt got red hair its a dark blonde/ light brown, She is a friend of my DD. Agree with you though ,CDs do prefer experienced kids, I guess that way they dont have to take a risk ..

Hi
Could I just ask, was there a height limit for the part of annabelle or other characters - I know that is immaterial now, just wondered
