song ideas pre 1965

Can anyone help with song choices please? DS needs to come up with a song pre 1965 that needs to be quite challenging. There are obviously lots out there but he just can't find one that takes his fancy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you need a song from a musical or any song? If from a musical you could look at Top Hat or another Gershwin song or maybe Singing in the Rain as these are currently popular West End shows. I guess there are lots of others too..The King and I has also been recently revived and on tour. I suppose it depends what it is for and if you need a classic well known song or something a little different.
