Dance audition help

Hi, I'm currently writing a dissertation on dance auditions in musical theatre. I was wondering if people who've been to auditions like this could tell me, what you auditioned for and what the dance audition entailed? Which type of dancing you had to do etc. Any information would be greatly appreciated
