Licence for Ireland???

Post by cops22 »

Hi all,
Help needed please.....
Can anyone tell me whether you need to licence separately for Dublin.... Belfast obviously comes under regular licence but I am getting conflicting info for Ireland.
The magistrates court told me yes over the phone but it says Licence not needed for Ireland in their info pack they sent me!!!!
I rang Dublin and they said we don't need one........
Don't want to go without one and have boys prevented from performing.... alternatively don't want to schlep to London if we don't need to....

All help very welcome
Thank you :)

Don't forget the Irish Republic is a totally different country, so although many systems are similar, you can't rely on anything being the same as they have totally different laws. Belfast paperwork is just their own arrangement of the system used in England - everything in it would be familiar.
