Different Haircut To My Headshots

Post by Rachel_M »

Hi :)

I got my new headshots taken at the beginning of March, but tomorrow I am getting my haircut and I'm just wondering if I basically have to stick to the same style/length as in my photos. I only get my haircut about twice a year so when I do go I generally like to have a bit of a change to make the most of it, and I am thinking about getting my fringe cut back in, but as I have no fringe in my headshots do you think this will count against me when going to castings? Is it safer just to stick to the same style and just get a bit cut off?

Thank you very much, any advice is very appreciated!

If I was you would just get a bit taken off and don't have a fringe unless you are going to have new photos taken. Phone up your agent and ask there advise first before you do any thing

I agree with Irishdancer.

Turning up looking different from your photo is a guaranteed way to annoy a CD!

Okay, thank you very much pg & IrishDancer, I thought as much! Dd didn't go with a fringe in the end and has decided to get it cut back in towards the end of the year and then get new photos. Probably the best decision! :)

Oh dear, ds hair is totally different from his headshot and pic is now two years out of date! He's going through an Aaron Johnson phase ATM. I constantly try to take new headshots as recently completed Photography degree but these are always a disaster and he looks really gloomy and tragic and we always end up having argument - similar to when I try to help him with lines. Will have to book photographer with hair and make up as soon as he finishes A Levels. Perhaps I should send snap to Agent?
