I have heard LOADS of bad reviews about EKA and bizzykidz. Are you looking for modelling or acting auditions? All of the ones on the list are modelling x
One day everyone will make it, but for now I'm still waiting http://www.starnow.co.uk/phoebespence1

Would not recommend Tuesdays Child at all either. Scream Management perhaps worth a look but be wary of their extra charges! Amber Personal Management could also be worth looking at ... they mainly represent adults but do have a small youth division. In all honesty though, there is no need to have a Northern agent. We have found DD has had many more castings since switching to a London agent!

One quick question ... have any of the agencies you mention actually met your daughter in person? If not, I would not sign up with them!

Thanks for your help :)
Its modelling and acting we're looking for- i thought they did both!
oo good thing i read this i was swaying towards eka because they seem really nice on the phone, have a good client base and iv heard they are at alot of castings but iv also herd they take on everyone!
Tuesdays child and little allstars have met her in person but little allstars want us to sign up to them as a sole agency for 3 years :/ which is a long time if they do turn out to be no good!
THe other two have just seen pics.
i will try the others you mentioned i heard KIds London were good but not heard of KM branch getting many jobs
URban angels is one i really wanted to go for but their books are closed for a while yet

On the whole you will find all northern agencies are quieter than London as there are less jobs in the North, and a lot of London agencies will only take you on if youre within reasonable distance to London. Bobe do 50/50 acting/modelling and is just starting out so will need to fill there books from scratch so worth applying x

The ideal would be to find an agency with brances in London and Manchester - so Bobe sounds like a good one to approach.

Thanks thats really helpful il take a look :D i suppose only problem is how long it takes them to get established and get contacts up here because i know that was the problem with Kids Manchester they were well established in london with loads of contacts but because they are relatively new to the north they dont seem to do as well altho like u say it is generally quieter up here for work so maybe thats the problem :( x

I'd avoid any agency that wanted to sign for 3 years - but its normal for them to stipulate 'sole agency'. Most agents you can just let them know when you want to leave, some require no notice, and others a month, some 3 months - but 3 years is too long to commit , you're quite right to be wary.
