Hi there, I am new to the forum but have been an avid reader for a while now. I am hoping someone can help with my question so here goes........
Can anyone recommend an agency for adult dancers who wish to work in musical theatre please?
My daughter is in her early twenties and is a cruise ship dancer. She has managed to get all of her contracts, from 2009 to date, without an agent but would like to explore the possibility of working in land based theatres in the future so needs to start looking for an agency. As agents/agencies are a new concept to both of us, any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

I'm not an expert - on anything really - but definitely not on dancing. However, what I would recommend is looking up all the casts of all the shows she would love to be in one day and then look the performers up on Spotlight. See who represents those individuals. Some of the names of performers she may be able to find on-line - some she may need to see if she can get hold of programmes from the productions.

She would do well to order a copy of Spotlight's Contacts Handbook too which lists a huge amount of agencies countrywide.... http://www.contactshandbook.com/ best £12.99 she'll ever spend!
