Jmartin,
You don't have an agent at the moment,
You won't have access to many of the auditions talked about, many are via agents, you keep on asking questions over and over that we have answered before or simply cannot answer.
I appreciate that you are a youngster and are interested in performing but your immaturity in age and experience is really showing and apologies but a tad annoying.
Please look at local opportunities , drama groups and clubs and seek experience and fun castings from them
Don't run before you can walk... If you want to seek agent opportunities get your parents involved as it really needs to come from them with you at such a young age.

Sorry. My remark was uncalled for. I know that you are very keen to have the opportunity to audition for things. That is natural.

But you couldn't have auditioned for this one - whether you had known about it in time or not, because it was only through agents and was for primary school children (or those who could pass for primary school children).

Your posts are very enthusiastic/keen - but you are giving the impression that if only you had been in time/had seen details/you were an inch shorter/you had an agent - then somehow you would be "in the mix" - for, umm, pretty well everything!

As I said to Nisha - and as I tried to suggest to you on another thread - I think you would have far more success (and would then be more likely to be able to get an agent and auditions) if you looked for opportunities that were not the big, open auditions. You also (if you want to succeed) would benefit from learning a bit about how professional casting works. It's not, and never will be, about whether or not you (or I, or anyone else) wants a chance or a job. If you could start to look at these things through the eyes of the people doing the casting you will be better prepared, more able to provide what they want and, importantly, far less frustrated.

I understand........it's just I think I'm probably too young to be doing this anyway. I thought that if I joined this site I'd get a bit more support for my age and I know it must be frustrating for you all because you all are experienced etc. but I'm not and I just need a bit of guidance. I feel as though I'm being too ambitious and I might come back to acting later on in life. I just don't have auditions at my disposal. Sorry. Bye :)

Don't let me drive you away jmartin! I'd be very sad and sorry if I thought I had done that.

There's no need at all to give up acting. If you love it then do it! Just look at it a bit more realistically - then you will have many more chances to do it. There are quite a few posters your age on this site, you know. Stick around and learn things :D . The support is there if you need it and so is the advice - but you will need to accept the reality of the industry to stay sane!

If you would like some help to find auditions, then start a new thread in "Can You Help?" and I will give you all the advice and support I can.

I think I'll do that thanks. I just need to stop pestering people and commenting on everything unrealistically. I think I'll just leave it for a bit though cos I'm starting my gcses soon so I don't wanna get distracted(: but I'll do this in my spare time. (: thanks and sorry again :)
