Indeed it is Nisha101
Their website is pretty informative you just have to take the time to sit and read through it all.

Hi there, we couldn't do their photo day either. We have used a photographer called Heijo from Eye on the Light, he is very good, South London based and comes to you! When I asked the agency about what shots they said he would know what they needed!
We are excited to see what life in a new agency brings!

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
no I'm still rather stuck as I don't want anything to go wrong or me not benefit whatsoever with no auditions or castings coming through

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
Bonnie and Betty have just sent us an email inviting my 14yr old DD to the next assessment sessions and will contact us in due course
Any idea of assessment format please for a teenager in order to prepare please ?
Many thanks.

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
We enquired at the end of June and they got straight back to us within a day or two and said they had new assessments coming up and would be in touch shortly.SamHelen wrote:Hey DanceDiva I was just wondering when did you apply? x

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
Thank you so much - this will be our first outings for agents, previously DD was accepted with a different agency without being seen but we decided not to carry on with them at that time.x_sugarplumfairy_x wrote:Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens

When they say monologue, does it have to be an excerpt from a book or would a poem suffice ?
My DD has a very expressive poem about dancing which she relates to very well but wondering if that would suffice ?
Thanks again in advance x

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
they attached some sample age appropriate monologues to the email but you didnt have to use theres you could choose your own. im sure a poem would be fine as long as it is expressive and shows her ability because they dont specify it has to be from a play x

Any more tips gratefully received !! xx
Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
DanceDiva - how old is your DD?
If she is a teenager I would really recommend trying to find a speech as a back up as well as a poem - just in case they would prefer that. (I think they would prefer it
). They will be assessing how she is likely to come across in audition/on screen and poems are very rarely used in auditions except for little ones.
Ideally this should be modern and close to her own age and type. It shouldn't be narrative - so not a passage from a novel. I imagine that they will want to see whether she can "become" someone/inhabit a character (that's what I would be looking for if I were auditioning/assessing someone's acting ability/style) - I'm not sure how easy this will be to show with a poem.
It doesn't have to be long - and you can cut and paste several pieces together, so you don't have to rely on finding a long speech in a play. One minute of something good is far, far better than 4 minutes of someone trying to remember something. I'd say aim for around 2 minutes and time it out loud in "performance mode" - don't time it muttering under your breath, you'll come up with a completely different time! If they attach monologues then have a look at the length and style of those as a guide. But don't worry if the one you pick is a bit shorter.
They will be able to judge/assess on a poem, but you will make their job much easier by choosing a speech.

Re: Bonnie & Betty Teens
Thank you so much pg - this is so helpful.
My DD is 14 and has little acting experience outside Saturday classes / school plays but she is an absolute whizz at improv and really enjoys it ( hence is confident ) so we have a strength there !

Hi everyone, I know I've been deciding for ages, I think I'm ready to apply and am wondering whether the auditions are still going on? Thanks
