Hi
I booked a job ....one day of filming, with a new cd i had never met before that audition, i was thinking of sending a thank you card, is this normal/should i just leave it . thank you :)

There's no harm at all in doing this, providing you keep it short and sweet and only use it to say thank you and that you enjoyed yourself. Don't attach a CV or photo or anything like that. As long as it doesn't look like a plea for more work, I would imagine they would be more than happy to receive it.

There is a slight danger of overkill here I think - but I would imagine the reaction is more likely to be "that's nice" rather than "desperate blooming actors".

Personally, I would only send a thank you like this where I knew that the CD had singled me out having been to see me in something for example. In other words, if I felt that the CD had pushed to get me seen. If it was just a case of having been picked from hundreds of submissions, I don't think I would bother, I would worry that it would look a bit "look at me", if you know what I mean.
