Thanks nigelben. Wheres MMU? Is it Man Met? Fingers crossed for him as I know he liked there last year.

Thanks dorothy. Yes, it is Manchester Met, and still, although he has had more success in other places so far this year, he still really likes MMU.

Hello nigelben and Dorothy,
so glad it's more positive this time around, though no less stressful!
I asked Arts ed last year (they offered DS foundation) why they would do that as oppose to a degree and their reply was that normally they offer it to candidates who they feel are strong in two disciplines but feel they are weaker in the third. DS is strong dance and singing but was lower in acting. Also he was only 17 at the time!

I'm sure all the other reasons are true as well mind you, and of course that's only based on what they have seen on the audition day, which may or not be a true reflection!!

Thanks Tess. Did your DS do the foundation in the end at Arts Ed and is he applying this year. If so good luck to him with his auditions

Thanks Tess, it's a shame more schools don't give feedback.

Hope your DS is happy in what he is doing and if auditioning this year, best wishes to him :)
