I have been reading all the posts of this thread with interest as it will be our turn next year. I just have a problem with MTA... What school is that?

Thank you...

My dd got a recall last year for MT. Unfortunately she didn't get a place but its her favourite place and she is trying again this year. I think if I recall the website says what they have to do. They have to chose a song from the list they give you and also I think do their original audition song. A dance workshop and devise a dance of about up to 2minutes I think and take a disc with them. They then do their monologue with everybody else. At the end of the day they ask a few people to stay and interview them and I think they get offered a place not sure if that happens if they put you on the reserve list. Not sure if that is everything but they tell you what to prepare. My dd has done the first round audition last week and is waiting to hear if she has a recall/

Thank you. That's what the letter said bit I wondered if there would be any unexpected extras. Good luck to your dd. the recall dates are very close so not much time to prepare. Guess they do it to test them .

when did your ds audition and when is the recall? My dd did last Friday in Manchester. Thinks it went okay and the pianist remembered her from last year so she felt pleased when he said he never forgot a voice

Dd waiting to hear from Trinity and Arden also. She had a busy week last week with auditions. Also has Central to do as well. Is your ds already at GSA then ? doing the foundation? Has he had any other auditions/offers. My dd has had one offer so far from Chichester MT Triple Threat which is one better than last year. Its a very stressful period but not quite so bad this year

Well fingers crossed. Lets hope they both get their dream place at least your ds will probably get to know at the recall. Hope it goes well. My dd really loved it there last year and really enjoyed the recall.
