Flo is suddenly going ballistic about this. Seems its a hot topic on Instagram.

I think I remember reading good reviews of Spirit's workshops, so she may well take the plunge and audition. I videoed her singing 'Falling Slowly' at a gig last Friday, but apparently (according to Flo) that's not the right song to send in

If anyone has any advice and guidance to share, please feel free - we are always grateful.

My DD is always pushing their Instagram pictures in my face too  and she's always on their youtube channel. I've only ever heard very good things about them. Shame DD's too young for this workshop.

My DD filmed the original 'Pick me Song' for them when SYPC started, the team are amazing and lovely people. Your DC will have a great time at their workshops and any competition they do are judged fairly by industry professionals. :D

Flo has been offered a place. She will be chuffed - she is at a costume fitting and rehearsal right now so you all know before she does

I'm a bit surprised, to be honest, because although she sure can carry a tune I wasn't altogether convinced she is what they'd be hoping for. Oh, and I submitted the audition video...a bit rough and ready but at least it must have got there!

Now, forms to fill in...money to pay...welcome to my world

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread to say how nice it was to put some faces to some names over the past few days. Thank you for being so kind and friendly to me and to Pandy :D

You have some amazingly talented DCs. I was seriously impressed by the quality of the vocals I heard on Thursday afternoon. Wow!

Hope they all had a good time

Oh yes, well said Deb, my dd had a fantastic time, and made some lovely friends - I am sure I wasn't the only parent with a tear in their eye at the performance - sniff ;) x

Miss Moneypenny, are you the lady with long blonde hair that I stood beside who shed a few tears? Your reaction to it was lovely! :)
