DD is waiting for results of the DaDA audition at Laine last week. Laine would be her top choice but without a bursary on top of the DaDA (not going to happen) it would be very difficult to support her financially and not worth the hardship when she has 2 great degree offers from Bird and Urdang with more than twice as much student finance maintenance as she would get DaDA maintenance ](*,)

I'm pretty sure she will accept Urdang but she keeps doubting her decision... however, she never says 'I'm going to accept Bird' so it seems pretty clear where her heart is ;) I've reminded her that some other poor person is waiting for one of her places so hopefully she'll decide soon.

Carriecrafts- I know what you mean. We didn't even look at anywhere that didn't have student finance because we knew we wouldn't be able to afford it even if DD got a DADA. It's just too expensive for us. It's such a shame that they can't all have student finance. Anyway that debate is for another thread.

Yes I know what you mean about holding a place.. But everyone has to do what is the right thing for them. I suspect the people on the waiting lists will start hearing soon. There must be lots of people in your situation with several offers.

Good luck to everyone waiting to hear :D
