Congratulations to everyone on all the offers so far.

Does anyone know how long London Studio Centre take to send the outcome of the auditions? My DS was there last Saturday so he is still waiting.

Thanks Lorry. How did the recall work? It talks about recalls in ballet, jazz, contemporary or MT. Does it depend on what course they are applying to or just what they want to see more of? My DS has applied for MT.

My DD applied for MT too but got recall in either Jazz or Contemporay she has chosen Jazz I'm not sure how they decided that probably what LSC think they are strongest in her recall is not until beginning of April

If he gets a recall with a choice that is what he would go for too. Jazz and tap are his favourites and he thought the contemporary that they did in the audition was a bit weird (in his words).

It is such a long drawn out process isn't it? His last recall is not until 2nd/3rd May for Mountview so it is all a bit unsettling as no final decisions can be made really until after all the recall/funding auditions. At least all his first auditions are over now, and we are delighted with the new DaDa banding. We were at the top end before but now if he could get a DaDa it would mean most of his tuition would be paid for which changes decisions again! I think we are going to need a spreadsheet!

To answer the Chichester question for Lorry, DD has also had an offer for BA Music with Musical Theatre (applied for Musical Theatre though). It came through UCAS on 21st and she auditioned on 6th so just over 2 weeks. I've seen a few others have come through via twitter too. She preferred London College of Music so unlikely to take it though.

oh wow yorshiremum, well done to your DD for getting offers, Chichester did say last week that they may offer something different if they think it would be a better fit.

Aww that is a shame..DD is in the first year there and is LOVING it..
But everyone gets a feel for a place and not everywhere is right for everyone,...

DD's best friend is at a different establishment which she loves, but my DD really didn't like it at all....

Good luck xxx
